The University of Virginia will test an outdoor Public Address/Siren System on Tuesday, Feb. 26, at approximately 9 a.m. at Scott Stadium located on Alderman Road.

Residents near the stadium will likely experience the most sound.

The test, a demonstration of a system the University is evaluating as part of its emergency mass-notification system, may include a series of different siren tones as well as voice amplification.
