South Lawn Project

Project Update:

Numerous efforts are underway in the University of Virginia’s South Lawn Project to ready the interiors of the north and south buildings for occupancy since classes are scheduled to begin on-site in January.

Exterior work includes building a walkway along Jefferson Park Avenue, continuing masonry on a buttress wall facing JPA, and waterpoofing the terrace crossing. Future work on the crossing will include the laying of stone pavers and landscaping.

The project is now approximately 85 percent complete.
