South Lawn Project
Construction of the University of Virginia's South Lawn Project will continue along Jefferson Park Avenue through November 2010.
Update: April 21, 2008
The buildings in the South Lawn Project are gaining definition. For example, the structural steel erection of the south building is complete, and structural steel erection for the north building is about 10 percent complete. Foundation walls for the commons building are complete. Limited backfill between the north and south buildings continues. Construction of the footings for the north side of the terrace will begin soon.
Utility work on the bank above the bus stop is about 90 percent complete, and utility work adjacent to New Cabell Hall has reached the halfway point.
The project is about 20 percent complete.
