Whitehead Road Projects
The University of Virginia’s Information Technology Engineering Building on Whitehead Road is currently 32 percent complete.
Structural steel has been topped out. Utility connections as well as the elevated slabwork have reached completion. Mechanical, electrical and plumbing rough-in has commenced. Electrical work will continue at the site.
It is anticipated that three more concrete pours will be made in May & June. Currently decks 1, 2 and 3 have been poured. Metal decking and
shear studs are in place on floors 4 and 5.
We regret the need for early morning work and apologize for any inconvenience the work may cause.
Rain will postpone the concrete pours; e-mail updates will continue as the work proceeds.
