The Max Planck Institute of Immunobiology, located in Freiburg, Germany, is offering several summer intern fellowships for undergraduates who wish to gain experience in scientific lab work for 3 months during the summer. Placements are available in a wide variety of fields including: Immunobiology, Developmental Biology, Epigenetics, Cell Biology, etc.

Eligibility

Applications are invited from students in their 3rd or 4th year of study towards a degree in Developmental Biology, Immunobiology, Genetics or Cell Biology. Knowledge of German is not a requirement.

Term

3 months between May and September.

Support

Interns will be provided with a stipend to cover their living expenses and free lodging at the Institute's guesthouse.

Application Process

Interested candidates should submit a letter of motivation, transcripts of the University courses they have completed, a proof of lab experience, and 2 letters of recommendation from their teachers.
