Miller Center Undergraduate Research Award

The Miller Center is a national, nonpartisan center with the mission to research, reflect, and report on American government. The Center provides research opportunities in political science for undergraduates. Students will work with a faculty advisor to conduct research in a broad range of disciplines, including, but not limited to, presidential studies, American history, political science, foreign affairs, policy studies, law, political economy, and sociology.
Applicants must be University of Virginia first, second, and third year undergraduates.
Summer 2014 and the 2013-2014 academic year.
$4,000 stipend; $1,000 research funding for advisor
The application for the Miller Center Undergraduate Research Award will be posted at http://millercenter.org/about/students. The deadline to apply is Tuesday, April 15, 2014. Applicants will be notified of the selection committee's decision in May 2014. Students should identify and meet with their faculty advisor to discuss their project early in the process of
