The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Summer Internship Program (SIP) provides an opportunity to work with some of the leading scientists in the world in an environment devoted exclusively to biomedical research.
Eligibility
U.S. citizen or permanent residents. Enrolled, or accepted for enrollment, as at least a half-time student for the 2008-2009 academic year at an accredited U.S. college or university. Also open to graduate, medical, and dental students.
Term
Summer. May - August. Minimum of 8 weeks required.
Support
Approximately $4,000.
