		<title>CLAS Research Grant Applications Now Available</title>

		<description>Looking for money to do research?  The CLAS Research Grant will give 5 students in the College $1500 each to conduct research on any topic of their choice.  Applications are due on &lt;b&gt;February 22, 2008&lt;/b&gt; electronically to &lt;a href="mailto:clasgrants@gmail.com" style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;clasgrants@gmail.com&lt;/a&gt;. 		<title>Deadline for URN Symposium Application Extended!</title>

		<description>The Undergraduate Research Network will be holding its biannual Research Symposium next &lt;b&gt;Wednesday, Nov. 7 from 10am to 4pm in Jefferson Hall&lt;/b&gt; (on McCormick Rd across from the libraries--balloons will be outside).  All are welcome to come and go throughout the day to watch undergraduates present their research from a variety of fields. 		<title>Now Accepting Oculus Submissions</title>

		<description>Want to be published? Submit your research to the Oculus, the Undergraduate Research Network's research journal! Any research paper written by a UVa undergraduate is eligible. Entries are typically between 7 and 35 pages in length. You may submit more than one paper. The deadline for submissions is September 19th. All submissions must be made in MS Word .doc format or OpenOffice .odt format. All supporting media (images, charts, tables, and the like) must be supplied in either .jpg or .tif file format. Please submit your entries and direct your questions to &lt;a href="mailto:oculus@virginia.edu" style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;oculus@virginia.edu&lt;/a&gt;.</description>
