Undergraduate Research Network

Undergraduate Research Network-Research Advising Program (URN-RAP)
Mission StatementThe University of Virginia offers an enormous amount of opportunities for undergraduate students to be involved in research in variety of fields and disciplines. The URN-Research Advising Program’s core mission is to assist students in exploring the various phases of undergraduate research. This includes guidance on the best approach to get started, how to choose laboratories, and even how to search and apply for research funding. URN-RAP is committed in providing a valuable insight to current and prospective undergraduate researchers at the University of Virginia.
We hope to achieve this mission via: (1) providing up-to-date guide of resources on generic research topics, (2) holding advising office hours to personalize undergraduate research experience and to answer specific questions/concerns, and (3) a blog to publish personal stories and opinions about undergraduate research at UVa. |
