Day of Dialogue

Students, faculty and staff joined together for a day devoted to dialogue about community-building, violence prevention and best practices surrounding safety on the Grounds and beyond.

Teresa A. Sullivan
University of Virginia President
Ms. Sullivan joined the University of Virginia as its eighth president on Aug. 1, 2010. Day of Dialogue is one of her first initiatives.
Michael F. Suarez
University Professor, Professor of English, and Director of Rare Book School at U.Va.
In addition to his scholarly work at U.Va., Suarez is a Jesuit priest. At the invitation of Dean Meredith Woo, he wrote about the death of Yeardley Love on the dean's Arts & Sciences blog.
