The Office of the Dean of Students is pleased to announce the fifteenth year of the Asian Pacific American Leadership Training Institute (APALTI). APALTI is a student-facilitated, culturally aware leadership development program designed to build confidence, enhance competence and strengthen connectedness among its participants

This program is targeted towards Asian International and Asian Pacific American (A/APA) first and second year students. By helping these students discover their personal leadership style, the program aims to increase participation of Asian and Asian Pacific American Students in community wide leadership roles.

We strongly encourage you to complete the brief application that can be found here.  Your completed application is due by 11:59PM on Friday October 26, 2012.  When you submit your application, please also remember to sign up for an interview slot which will be available on a first come, first serve basis. The schedule of meetings is listed below:

  • 1st session – November 14th
  • 2nd session – January 30th
  • 3rd session – February 6th
  • 4th session – February 13th
  • 5th session – February 20th
  • 6th session – February 27th
  • 7th session – March 6th
  • 8th session – March 20th
  • 9th session – March 27th
  • 10th session – April 3rd

Meetings will tentatively run for two hours from 7PM-9PM.
