About Us

Welcome!

Hispanic, Latino, and Latin American students at the University of Virginia represent a vibrant sector of our community.  They bring with them a variety of languages, religions, nationalities and cultural traditions which enrich the experience for all students at the University.

There are many student-run organizations and events which celebrate, educate and serve Hispanic, Latin@, and Latin American Cavaliers.  Multicultural Student Services is a branch of the Office of the Dean of Students that focuses on meeting the identified needs of this community by offering resources, support and guidance to groups and individuals.

To find out more than what is available through this website or to ask questions related to how to get involved, how to get started on an initiative, please contact me in person, on the phone or by email.  I encourage you also to come to me if you have suggestions, concerns or comments.  My office is in Newcomb Hall on the first floor. Enter the Programs and Councils space at the end of hall, look to your right and it’s office 164D.

Sincerely,
