The Student Activities Centers Assistants (SACAs) are responsible for operating the Student Activities Center and Media Activities Center, located on the first floor and lower level of Newcomb Hall. This team of students work together to provide information and services to student organizations including equipment checkout, copying and printing, ticket sales and general information for organizations. The two managers and Program Coordinator for Student Organization Support work to hire, supervise, schedule and lead the SACAs.
The Programs and Councils Office Assistants (PACAs) support the general operations for the Office of the Dean of Students/Student Activities by providing front-line customer service and reception for students, faculty, and staff. The Office Assistants will complete specific projects and duties for the professional Student Activities Staff in support of the day to day operations and events in Student Activities.
SACAs and PACAs have the opportunity to develop leadership and career-building skills such as managing information, customer service, problem solving, responsibility, collaboration and communication.
