Overview

The mission of the University of Virginia's Division of Student Affairs is to "promote the intellectual, cultural, personal, and social development of students." We believe that technology is a regular part of the intellectual, cultural, and even social development of students--and that it should therefore play a key role in the delivery of student services as well as the general operation of the Office of the Dean of Students of which the Technology Services unit is a part.

Our goals are to:

1. Address technical support issues in the following manners:
   • Timely
   • Efficiently
   • Effectively
2. Create operational efficiencies
3. Enable new strategic directions
