Student Activities

Student Activities is a center of activity and community on Grounds. Within the philosophy of student self-governance where students learn by participating and leading, our mission is to support students' development into citizen leaders. These leaders engage the community through service and activities that promote meaningful collaboration and involvement.

Located on the first floor of Newcomb Hall, you will find a team of student staff, student volunteers, and professional staff who can help you find your place at UVA through involvement in onr of our more than 700 student organizations and club sports, participating in an event, involving yourself in student governance, or creating something new. The Student Activities Center (the SAC) is the place to go to implement your ideas for activities and initiatives.
