Theatre Event Coordinator and Audio/Video/Lighting Specialist
Max Krembs received a B.A. in Drama from the University of Virginia in 2012. It was at U. Va. where he honed his skills as a sound designer and sound engineer, working on multiple productions for U. Va. Drama during his undergraduate career. While studying at the University, extracurricular work took him to many diverse destinations including the Outer Banks in North Carolina to work on The Lost Colony, an outdoor drama, as well as New York City to work on two productions with the Transport Group.
After graduation and prior to returning to the University, Krembs worked as a sound designer for the Illinois Shakespeare Festival before settling into the Washington, DC area as the sound engineer for Olney Theatre Center for a year. Now that he has returned, not only are his event planning skills seeing their first major test since the days when he helped to found and operate his fraternity, Sigma Omicron Rho, but he also continues to hone his technical skills in the fields of sound design, sound engineering, projection for theater, and electrics work.
