Heritage Theatre Festival 2010

This year at the Heritage Theatre Festival we are putting fun center stage! What better way to kick it off than with one of the most classic family musicals of all time, The Sound Of Music, opening our season on July 1 at Culbreth Theatre.

For fun of a different sort, we’ll take you to Putnam County, NY where a spelling bee is turned into pure comic gold in the side-splitting comedy The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

Then it’s Christmas in July when the fine folks of Tuna, Texas treat audiences to holiday hilarity as only they can create in A Tuna Christmas.

Neil Simon’s romantic comedy Barefoot in the Park is a tale of love, marriage…and then what? Set in 1960’s New York.  It’s a comedic master at his very best.

Come join us for a sneak preview of the season at our Kick-Off Party, Saturday, June 12 at the Helms Theatre. Enjoy a special performance by our company members and dessert catered by Clifton Inn.  Tickets are $30 and on sale now!

Season subscriptions and Kick-Off Party tickets are currently available online at www.uvahtf.org. Single show tickets will go on sale online and in person at the U.Va. Arts Box Office on June 11.
