Pictures are worth a thousand words - so, depicted here is a visual progress report on the construction of the Ruth Caplin Thrust Theatre, scheduled for opening in early 2013. Excavation and installation of the "shoring wall" (seen here with the A-School hovering above) is complete and currently the "footings" for the structure are being poured. We should soon see some steel and block arising from the depths!

For those of you who, as students, are familiar with the Drama building, the stage level of the Ruth Caplin Theatre is approximately on the same level as the basement of our building. In fact, there will be a corridor adjacent to classroom BOO6, connecting the basement level of the Drama building to the stage level of the Ruth Caplin.

When all is said and done, we look forward to welcoming our patrons, alumni and friends to a brand new state-of-the-art theatre complex, as depicted in the rendering here.
