Jeffrey
D. Nuechterlein is Managing Director at National Gypsum Company,
where he manages public and private equity investments. He is an
active venture capital investor in early stage Internet companies.
Dr. Nuechterlein received his B.A. and J.D. from the University
of Virginia and his M.A. and D. Phil. from Oxford University.
Before joining NGC investments, he was outside legal counsel to
several U.S. semiconductor companies, Counsel to the U.S. Senate's
Technology & Law Subcommittee, and Senior Counsel to the U.S. Trade
Representative. He lectures frequently at Oxford and at U.S. business
schools and recently wrote an article for publication by the Council
on Foreign Relations entitled "International Venture Capital: The
Role of Start-Up Financing in the U.S., Europe, and Asia."
