Middlebury Summer Language Schools
Middlebury College offers summer programs in Chinese and Japanese. Programs are held inMiddlebury, Vermont, where students pledge to use the foreign language the entire time they arethere. This means no English newspapers or magazines, and all conversations in and out of theclassroom are to be conducted in the foreign language. The school offers grants and other aid tostudents based on financial need. Aid decisions are made on a rolling basis for those studentsaccepted to the program. Those students requiring assistance should have application andfinancial aid material completed by January 1. All other students should send in their applicationsby March 15.
