Get to Class and Work Safely in Winter Weather
Plan ahead and take the following steps to prevent vehicle accidents, slips, trips and falls:
- Allow extra drive time.
- Allow extra time to get from your parking area to your classroom or work area.
- Stick to cleared walkways. Don't take shortcuts.
- Wear appropriate shoes or boots for snow, ice or rain.
- Watch for black ice, particularly in the early morning and evening hours.
