Updates

Beth Reinhard, HR:

  • The Restructuring Survey received over 50% response rate.
  • Jobs@UVA training sessions are on-going and will continue through August. Having a bilingual option is not planned at this time. Current employees looking for a new job will remain confidential from their existing department.  Only if you apply for a job within your department will your supervisor be able to see your information.
  • Evaluations are coming up. Documentation concerning above or below-contributors needs to be in before evaluations are started.
  • Aug. 1st, there will be a pilot program for new employee orientation. The program will be held at AFC and will last approximately 6hrs.  It will include lunch, benefits orientation, a tour of the Rotunda, and the ability to get your parking pass and ID cards while there.

The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 20th, at 1:30 pm in conference room 2 of 400 Ray C. Hunt Drive.
