The Director coordinates the three components of EOP's mission: to ensure equal opportunity in access to the University, to investigate and resolve complaints, and to conduct educational training and outreach. The Director also ensures compliance with Title IX regulations.

Robbie Greenlee, Equal Opportunity Officer for Employment Equity
E-mail: rag6a@virginia.eduThe Equal Opportunity Officer for Employment Equity monitors the faculty recruitment process to ensure integrity of the hiring process and compliance with federal and state equal opportunity/affirmative action laws and regulations. The Equal Opportunity Officer for Employment Equity is also responsible for the development and implementation of equity initiatives and projects.
Melvin Mallory, Equal Opportunity Officer for Educational Training and Outreach

The Equal Opportunity Officer for Educational Training and Outreach is also accountable for outreach activities to the University and local communities and serves as webmaster for EOP.

E-mail: lwr5x@virginia.eduThe Equal Opportunity Officer for Policy and Legal Compliance reviews and analyzes equal opportunity/affirmative action compliance requirements and recommends changes to University policies and procedures as needed. The Equal Opportunity Officer for Policy and Legal Compliance also receives and investigates internal and external complaints of discrimination and sexual harassment.
Ombudsman / ADA Coordinator
Brad Holland, University Ombudsman and ADA Coordinator
E-mail: ombuds@virginia.eduThe University Ombudsman is an independent confidential resource available to assist faculty, staff, and students in resolving problems, complaints, conflicts and other issues when normal processes and procedures have not been satisfactory. The Ombudsman also serves as the University's Section 504 and ADA Coordinator to help resolve issues and provide information regarding services and accommodations for individuals with disabilities.
Melissa Oliver, Assistant to the ADA Coordinator
E-mail: mo3a@virginia.eduThe Assistant to the ADA Coordinator works with the ADA Coordinator to provide services to students and to ensure the accessibility of events on Grounds such as Final Exercises and Alumni Weekend. The Assistant to the ADA Coordinator also works with Demand & Response Transportation (DART) to provide alternative transportation service for faculty, staff and students with temporary or permanent disabilities. In addition, she assists with special projects and assignments.
