Agenda Digest
In attendance were Edward Ayers, Rebecca Kneedler, Ingrid
Soudek, Benjamin Ray, Milton Adams, Marva Barnett, Richard DeMong,
Mark Haskins, and Doris Glick. Also in attendance were guests, Paige
Hornsby, Instructor in Epidemiolgy, and William Knaus, Chair of
Health Evaluation Sciences.
Ms. Hornsby and Mr. Knaus attended the meeting to present to
the Committee a proposal for a new degree program in Health
Evaluation Sciences. The Committee will carefully review the
proposal and make a decision whether they will support the proposal
at the next scheduled meeting, which is Wednesday, January 22nd.
The Committee discussed teaching evaluation and the "teaching
document" that was passed out at the December 4 Faculty Senate
meeting. They discussed how the initiative is progressing and where
they will go from here with the initiative.
