• Numbers that may help you gain a sense of the current use of technology at UVa: Center for Survey Research/ITC Reports on Computer Usage
• Articles: To help provide some background on the debate swirling around the increasing reliance on technology in higher education, here are links to several articles. The one by David Noble is a scathing and wide-ranging critique, the one by Eli Noam carries a tone of encouragement. The Noble article appears in ITC's digital magazine, "Virginia.edu," and is accompanied by annotations that lead to other opinions and information. The Noam article is in "Educom Review," a publication largely by and for people in support of technology in colleges and universities.
