Financial Reporting & Analysis
Mission
Financial Reporting & Analysis provides institutional level information about the financial status of the
University. Our functions include: the creating and presenting financial reports to internal and external parties,
developing and maintaining reporting tools to provide high-quality financial information that supports the
University's strategic management initiatives; maintaining robust costing systems/tools to aid in the preparation
and negotiation of the federal F&A rates; ensuring that the official accounting records of the University are
up-to-date and accurate; safeguarding the assets of the University to minimize risk of financial loss; and managing
internal controls to mitigate risk. Although our work is complex, we are committed to continuous process improvement
in order to become more efficient and effective. Our customers include the University’s senior management, the Board
of Visitors, and University departments, as well as federal and state agencies.
