Policy
Housing residents feeling they have incurred such a loss of tangible personal property of $500 or less should contact the Housing Division to start the claims process. If the losses of tangible personal property exceed $500, the Housing resident should reference Procedure 7-80 to process his or her claim.
If the claim involves bodily injury, the Housing Division should reference Procedure 7-80 to report the incident.
If the Office of Risk Management concurs and approves the claim, the Housing Division will process the claim and issue a check to the resident.
