Policy Reference:
Purpose
To explain Federal Reserve Board Regulation CC which explains the
proper endorsement of checks.
Instructions
All University depositors must restrict the placement of all
endorsements either written or stamped to within 1 1/2 inches of
the trailing edge of the back of the check. Some departments may
need to obtain new endorsement stamps with smaller type to stay
within the 1 1/2 inches.

Endorsement Area
All University depositors must continue to use only the deposit
tickets issued by the Bursar's Office when making deposits even
when they are depositing cashier's, certified, and teller's checks.
