Budget Worksheet

By learning to establish and maintain a budget, students can help keep expenses under control and stretch their money as far as possible. We encourage students to use the following budget worksheet to develop a disciplined approach to spending money. The worksheet will also help them understand the expenses they face and how to make their money last. When establishing a budget, it's important to focus on the essentials, which may mean putting off some personal desires. Gradually, students will learn to save for times when money is tight, or come to realize they can buy what they want without adding to their debt. To be most effective, a budget should be both flexible and practical.
