To apply for financial aid, all students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The University Financial Aid Application, accessible through the Finances section of the SIS, is also required for all BIS and Graduate students. Entering and transfer students for Fall admission must complete the CSS/PROFILE in addition to the FAFSA. Be sure to read the directions carefully and make sure to meet all necessary deadlines. Missed deadlines can affect your eligibility for specific forms of financial aid and delay the awarding of your aid.
You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader in order to open our forms. This software is free and can be downloaded from the Adobe website. It is recommended that you download at least Version 5.0 or higher.
All UVA Financial Aid forms are available as PDF
forms. You will be able to type the information required in each form
while you are online. Once you have completed each form, you must print,
sign, date and mail or fax it to our office. Please note that these PDF
forms cannot be saved to a file. Also, to ensure your privacy, please
clear the brower's cache after completing your form.

Without this form on file, our staff will be unable to offer important assistance to parents and others who have questions about the student account. We recommend all students complete this form.
