Laura Kolar

I am a graduate student in the Department of History, writing a dissertation on the history of rural land use policy from the New Deal through the 1960s. I have been a teaching assistant for "STS 200: Technology, Nature, and Sustainable Agriculture,"" in the engineering school. I presented a lecture on that work, ""Bringing Engineers into the Foodshed,"" at the 2009 Humanities and Technology Association Annual Conference in Charlottesville."
