How Homework Is Graded

Individual points are not added up on homework from the workbook / lab manual. When students self-correct using an answer key, they MUST indicate corrections and questions using ink in a color different from that used to do the assignment. In other words, it should be clear to the teacher that the student has used the correction key after doing the assignment, even if all of the student's answers are correct.

Copying answers from the answer key is an honor violation.

The homework assigned provides practice immediately following the presentation of new material, or in preparation for the next day's class. Homework done late will still be a useful study tool for the student, but it completely nullifies its role as preparation for class. Therefore, late homework will  always be graded "O."
