  7.5 points
C
Student's response was understandable (with much good will on your part), but contained several major errors in pronunciation, word choice and/or grammar. A native speaker who was not used to dealing with non-native speakers would have trouble understanding.
  8.5 points
B
Answer accurate and understandable, but it contained one major, or two minor errors that might bother but not hinder understanding by native speakers not used to dealing with non-native speakers of French. Response shows a very good grasp of grammar studied so far.
  9.5 points
