FOA Opportunity: August 31st

On August 31st from 6:30-7:30pm in the Amphitheater, Delta Gamma will help sponsor an FOA event alongside of ADAPT and the Shoot Star Foundation. The evening will help address the negative consequences associated with party drugs while commemorating the passing of Shelley Goldsmith. All members of the Greek community are invited to come hear personal stories, a presentation on party drugs, and partake in a candlelight vigil.

This event is an approved FOA program for the alcohol and drug awareness requirement.

Well deserved!

We are proud to announce that the Delta chapter of Alpha Tau Omega was awarded the 2014 True Merit Award earlier this month at their Biennienal Congress Awards Banquet. These men earned the distinction through positive community and University involvement. Nice work, men!

Congratulations!

Congratulations to Farrell Jaskot being named the Outstanding Advisor of the Year at Alpha Phi’s Convention earlier this month!

Helpful Hints for a Productive Summer!

As we move into Summer Break here are some helpful hints for your chapter:

• Construct a chapter calendar for the fall semester: This will help chapter leadership and membership know what needs to be planned for over the summer. Make sure to schedule a mid-summer check-in with any officers working on projects over the summer!
• Know when your summer deadlines are: Do you have awards packets or end of the semester reports that are due after you all leave for break? If so make sure that you know who is responsible for getting those in on time. Additionally if you need reports or information from our office, remember to request that in advance as we need 48 hours to process all requests
• Contact information: Make sure that if you need to be in touch with your officers over the summer you have not only their contact information but also their schedule, so that you know when they will be around to check-in with!
