New: Greek Weekend Committee
New in 2012, Greek Weekend and Greek Carnival (formerly Mid-Autumns Carnival) have combined efforts end energy to best serve the fraternity/sorority, University, and greater Charlottesville communities. As part of the planning process, the Greek Weekend and Greek Carnival have developed a new structure to better deliver the programs and events that are associated with these events.
The structure of the Greek Weekend and Greek Carnival Committee will include 3 executive directors that will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of Greek Weekend. In addition to the executive directors, committee chairs will be elected to manage specific events throughout Greek Weekend. Each of these committees will consist of committee members who will also assist in the implementation of each event. Applications and position descriptions are provided below; all applications must be completed by March 29. Any questions should be directed to Hal Turner in The Office of the Dean of Students/ Fraternity & Sorority Life.
