30 Student Leaders Receive National Facilitator Certification

On Saturday, September 18, 30 fraternity and sorority leaders took part in an interactive training workshop led by Mike Dilbeck, creator of the Response Ability Project. The Response Ability focuses on bystander intervention specific to fraternities and sororities. After attending this training, the student leaders were certified to present this program to individual fraternities and sororities as an FOA opportunity. More information on the program will be available after Fall Reading Days.

This program was the first time that students received a Level 1 Certification as a Response Ability Program Facilititator.   The following fraternity and sorority members received this certification:

MGC & NPHC Elect New Council Presidents

The Multicultural Greek Council and the National Pan Hellenic Council have elected new council presidents for the Fall 2010 semester. Kathy Altamirano (Lambda Theta Alpha) and Breyon Whittington (Zeta Phi Beta) are the new leaders for the MGC and NPHC, respectively.
