Sample Call for Nominations


The University of Virginia General Faculty Council is seeking nominations for general faculty to represent the following constituencies:

 

2 representatives to be elected at-large

2 representatives to be elected from the College of Arts and Sciences

1 representative to be elected from the Architecture and Commerce Schools

1 representative to be elected from the Darden and Law Schools

 

The University of Virginia General Faculty Council represents full and part-time academic General Faculty, administrative and research professional staff.  The Council exists to represent the interest of the General Faculty to the University and to advise the University on matters pertaining to the General Faculty. To be eligible to serve, nominees must have held a general faculty position (non-tenure eligible) for the past 12 months and be willing to serve on the Council for a three-year term (April 20xx-March 20xx).

The University of Virginia General Faculty Council is seeking nominations for general faculty interested in serving. Nominations are sought for vacancies in the following areas: Administration, Arts & Sciences, Hospital, Libraries, Medical School, and "Other" Schools.

The University of Virginia General Faculty Council represents full and part-time academic General Faculty, administrative and professional General Faculty, and research professional staff. The Council exists to represent the interests of the General Faculty to the University and to advise the University on matters pertaining to the General Faculty.
