The German Society is open to all persons interested in learning more about the language and culture of Germany. It is not required that members have any experience in the language, although many do. Our group is composed of University Students, German Students, Graduate Students, and members of the community. Each year we try to do fun German related activities that are geared toward what interests the group. This includes watching German movies, learning about Study Abroad programs, going to the German play, attending musical performances written by German composers, presentations, parties, Love Parade (A dance celebration every year with the Turkish and European Societies), working closely with the German House, and working with the German Department. We are always open to new and fun activities for the club to enjoy. You can come to any meeting and see if this is the right place for you!
