The German Literature Major

Ten courses or thirty semester hours in German at the 3000-level or above, including:

1.            GERM 3000 (Intensive Grammar)

2.            GERM 3010 (Introduction to Literature)

3.            GERM 3110 or 3120 (Survey of German Literature)

4.         GERM 4600 (Senior Seminar)

 5.        At least one further GERM literature course

Two of the ten courses may be GETR courses.  Up to 12 credits may be transferred from other institutions (in the USA or abroad) to fulfill the major requirements.  Prior approval required.
