The German Literature Major

Ten courses or thirty semester hours in German at the 300-level or above, including:

1.            GERM 300 (Intensive Grammar)

2.            GERM 301 (Introduction to Literature)

3.            GERM 311 or 312 (Survey of German Literature)

4.         GERM 460 (Senior Seminar)

 5.        At least one further GERM literature course

Two of the ten courses may be GETR courses.  Up to 12 credits may be transferred from other institutions (in the USA or abroad) to fulfill the major requirements.  Prior approval required.
