Facilities

Over the next several years, a number of new facilities will transform patient care, research, and medical and nursing education. These new buildings will enhance the U.Va. Health System’s ability to meet the needs and aspirations of its patients, faculty, students, and community. They include:

  • The U.Va. Emily Couric Clinical Cancer Center
  • The Barry and Bill Battle Building at U.Va. Children’s Hospital
  • The Claude Moore Medical Education Building
  • The Claude Moore Nursing Education Building/McLeod Hall Renovation
  • Medical research facilities (Carter-Harrison, Ivy)

Programmatic Priorities

In addition to its capital goals, the Campaign for Health is focused on a number of programmatic priorities, including:
