David B. Trinkle. M.D.

Dave Trinkle serves as Associate Dean of Community and Culture at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine, Vice Mayor of Roanoke, and is a local business owner. He has published numerous articles in various medical and lay journals pertaining to the field of Geriatric Psychiatry and medical technology for seniors. As Associate Dean at VTSOM, his roles include developing an Interprofessional Curriculum focused on leadership, team work, and service learning experiences for the students and creating a two way path to maximize the relationship between the Roanoke Valley Community and the Medical School. Dave received both his bachelors and doctoral degrees from the University in 1983 and 1987 respectively.
Dave lives in Roanoke with his wife and three children.
