Daniel L. Oakey

Dan is an officer of SNL Financial LC, a premier provider of sector-specific news, financial data and expert analysis for the banking, insurance, financial services, real estate, energy and media & communications industries. Having joined SNL three weeks after graduating with a B.S. in Finance from the McIntire School of Commerce, Dan has held a variety of roles at SNL over the course of a 19+ year career there. A resident of the Charlottesville area now for over twenty-three years, he lives there with his wife Angie (CLAS '96) and their three children.
