Tyler S. Henritze

Tyler Henritze was in the 2003 class of the University of Virginia graduating from the McIntire School with a BS in Commerce. Tyler currently lives and works in New York City where he is a Managing Director in the Real Estate Group at Blackstone focusing on new lodging investments.
Since joining Blackstone in 2004, Mr. Henritze has been involved in and led a variety of acquisitions including Wyndham International, La Quinta, CarrAmerica, Equity Office Properties, Extended Stay Hotels ('10), the Columbia Sussex Portfolio, the Duke Realty Portfolio, Parc55 and Motel 6. Mr. Henritze was also a founding member and spent two years helping to launch the Real Estate Debt Strategies Group at Blackstone which focuses on a variety of non-controlling debt oriented real estate investments.

Before joining Blackstone in 2004, Mr. Henritze worked at Merrill Lynch, where he was an Analyst in the Real Estate Investment Banking group and was involved in a variety of debt, equity and M&A transactions. Tyler is originally from Atlanta, GA where he attended Westminster High School.
Tyler also serves on the Investment Community Board of CityYear NY which is an education focused, nonprofit organization.
