Join Jefferson's Circle
When Thomas Jefferson began designing and building the University of Virginia, he gathered a “circle of friends” who were the “subscribers, contributors, and founders” of the University. Jefferson’s Circle was formed to support the preservation of Jefferson’s architectural masterpiece: the Rotunda, pavilions and hotels, student rooms, and gardens that make up his Academical Village.
Gifts over $100,000 will be permanently recognized in the Rotunda.
Individual Lawn and Range rooms, Hotels, Alleys, and Pavilions may be permanently sponsored, and permanent named endowments can be established by you or in honor or memory of loved ones. Please contact Amy Yancey for more information.
U200 is a group of University leaders who have made a pledge of $100,000 or more over five years to match the commonwealth’s investment in renovating the Rotunda.
