The Office of State Governmental Relations (SGR) supports the University to fulfill its institutional mission and goals by:


>	Virginia General Assembly Link to House of Delegates, Senate, state budget, and more.

>	Legislative Information System (LIS) Get session information, use searchable databases, track a bill, and more.


>	The 2008 Regular Session of the General Assembly adjourned sine die on Thursday, March 13.

>	The General Assembly convened a special session, which is scheduled to meet on April 23, to consider the capital improvement bond bills.


>	The General Assembly will reconvene on Wednesday, April 23 to consider the Governor's vetoes and amendments to bills passed during the 2008 Regular Session.
