• The 2009 Session of the General Assembly convened on Wednesday, January 14, adjourned sine die on Saturday, February 28. The Reconvened Session met on Wednesday, April 8 to consider the Governor's vetoes and recommendations to bills passed during the Regular Session.

 

 

• The Governor presented amendments to the 2008-10 Budget Bill to the General Assembly on December 17, 2008. The House Appropriations and Senate Finance committees reported their amendments to the Budget on Sunday, February 8, and the Joint Conference Committee report was adopted on February 28.
