• The 2008 Regular Session of the General Assembly convened on Wednesday, January 9, adjourned sine die on Thursday, March 13, and reconvened on Wednesday, April 23 to consider the Governor's vetoes and recommendations to bills passed during the Regular Session.

   

 

• The Governor presented the 2008-10 Budget Bill to the General Assembly on December 17, 2007. The House Appropriations and Senate Finance committees reported their amendments to the Budget on Sunday, February 17, and the Joint Conference Committee report was adopted on March 13.
