More than 25 miles of single-track trails that traverse 850 acres
Directions: From U.S. 29 North, take a right onto Rt. 649 (towards airport) north of Charlottesville. Bear left onto Rt. 606 at airport and then take a left onto Rt. 743, Earlysville Rd., at T-intersection. Proceed south on Rt. 743 approximately 1.5 mi. before making right onto Panorama Rd. (Rt. 844)
Hours: January 15-October 1: Open every day, sunrise to sundown; October 1-January 15: Open Sun, Mon, Wed, and Thur only. Night riding permitted year round on Wednesday only (you must have 3 or more night riders for safety). Permit required; check Web site for trail conditions as trails are closed right after rainfall.
Rates: Day permit $8; annual permit $200
Walnut Creek Park
