Albemarle County Libraries

Public library services in Albemarle County are provided by the Jefferson-Madison Regional Library, which serves the City of Charlottesville, as well as the counties of Nelson, Greene, and Louisa. The Library has 370,000 volumes, including videos, books-on-tape, and large print books, and circulates over 1,350,000 items annually. Reference service and book renewals are available by phone, at any branch, and online.
