Auditions
Auditions for 1776 will be held on January 22 from 1-6pm at Culbreth Theatre. There are roles for 26 men and 2 women. Heritage plans to cast age specific, with the ages of the characters in the show ranging from 18-70. Men should bring in sheet music and be prepared to sing, as well as deliver a 1-2 minute monologue. Women should sing either or both "He Plays The Violin" and "Till Then" from the show, as well as deliver a 1-2 minute monologue. Auditions will be held on January 22 in ten minute slots from 1-6 p.m.

Auditionees should either call the Drama Department at (434) 924-3327 or come to Room 201 in the Drama Building at U.Va. to sign up for an audition time during the week of January 16.

Employment
The Heritage Theatre Festival is looking to hire positions in all technical departments for its 2012 Summer Season. Positions include: Drapers, Stitchers, First Hands, Wardrobe, Props Master, Props Artisans, Run Crew, Run Crew Lead, Carpenters, Master Carpenters, Assistant Technical Directors, Drafting Person, Painters, Scenic Charge, Assistant Sound Engineer, Board Operators, Master Electricians, Electricians, Lead Electricians, and Interns in all areas. Salaries range from $175-$500/week. Placing an ad in the Heritage Program is not only an effective way for you to reach potential customers, but it is also a way to support this vital arts organization that has been part of this community for over 35 years. We distribute our Program to each patron at every performance of every show during our six weeks of performances.
