     My dissertation studies the role of women's organizations in the politics of Denver, Durham, and Indianapolis from 1960 to 1975.  The engagement of women's groups and their members with second-wave feminism, I also consider the work of women's groups on other issues, including foreign policy and the War on Poverty.
