Diversity Advisory Board
The function of this standing committee is to provide a perspective to the Honor Committee from the University's diverse minority and cultural groups. The objective is to establish a continuous proactive dialogue between the multicultural community and the Committee, as well as to express concerns of the community prior to policy implementation. The full Honor Committee votes to elect the leadership of the Diversity Advisory Board (DAB) . This year's co-chairs are Amy Sikes and Yi Cai.
Diversity Advisory Board Mission Statement The mission of the Diversity Advisory Board (DAB) is to promote understanding, solve problems, explore opportunities and provide advice for the Honor System and its governing body, the Honor Committee, on all issues related to race, ethnicity, culture, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, and other forms of diversity. DAB is a standing subcommittee made up of University community members and at least one Honor Committee Representative (as chair). The Diversity Advisory Board ( DAB) plans to meet the second Thursday of every month at 7:00pm on the 4th floor of Newcomb Hall.
